Add the Slack Connector
Authenticate to Slack
After you add the connector, you need to set the required properties. Team: Enter the identifier of the team to which you belong. supports authenticating to in several ways. Select your authentication method below to proceed to the relevant section that contains the authentication details.- OAuth (default)

To connect with OAuth credentials, specify the following properties:- Auth Scheme: Select OAuth.

OAuth Version: Enter the version for the type of authentication that you want to use when you connect to . Each version is used for a different type of authentication:
- Use v2 (the default version) to perform OAuth authentication on new applications.
- Use openid to perform OAuth authentication when you use the OpenID Connect protocol.
User Token
To connect with a user OAuth token, specify the following properties:- Auth Scheme: Select UserToken.
- User Token: Enter the non-expiring user token that you created in . The token is available in the application settings by selecting Features > OAuth & Permissions.
Complete Your Connection
To complete your connection:- Define advanced connection settings on the Advanced tab. (In most cases, though, you should not need these settings.)
- Connect to to connect to your account.
- Click Create & Test to create your connection.
