Prerequisites
For v28 and later, you must install the Sdata adapter before you use the driver. See the Sage SData-2.0 documentation for information about how to install the adapter. The application connects to data via the SData REST API, which is included with the installation. SData provides access to both local company datasets and those stored on network drives. Before you establish a connection, ensure the Sage SData service is properly configured. Then, follow these steps to obtain the dataset URL and connect:- Open the software and select Tools > Internet Options.
- Click the SData Settings tab.
- Click Details next to the application to which you want to connect. This action opens a window that displays a list of company names along with the addresses to their corresponding datasets.
- Set the URL property in the “Authenticate to Sage 50 UK” section below to the value in the address field next to the company that you want to use.

After you add the connector, you need to set the required properties. URL: Enter the URL for company data set that you want. supports authenticating to in several ways. Select your authentication method below to proceed to the relevant section that contains the authentication details.Basic

Complete Your Connection
To complete your connection:- Define advanced connection settings on the Advanced tab. (In most cases, though, you should not need these settings.)
- Click Create & Test to create your connection.
