Add the Microsoft Dynamics CRM Connector

Authenticate to Microsoft Dynamics CRM

After you add the connector, you need to set the required properties.

• URL: Enter the root URL for your organization.
  • For CRM 4.0 or a CRM 2011, the URL is in this form: http://MySite/MyOrganization.
  • For CRM Online, the URL is in this form: https://MyOrganization.crm.dynamics.com
• CRM Version: Select the type of server to which you want to connect. The default version is CRM2011+.

• For CRM version CRM2011+, the following auth schemes are available:
  • NTLM (default)
  • OAuth
  • Kerberos
• For CRM version CRMOnline, the following auth schemes are available:
  • OAuth (default)
  • Azure Active Directory
  • Azure Service Principal
  • Azure Service Principal Certificate

NTLM

To connect with NTLM user credentials, specify the following properties:

• Auth Scheme: Select NTLM.
• User: Enter the SharePoint username that you use to authenticate to the server.
• Password: Enter the password that you use to authenticate to the server.

Complete Your Connection

To complete your connection:

1. (Optional) For Organization Name, enter your organization name.
2. Define advanced connection settings on the Advanced tab. (In most cases, though, you should not need these settings.)
3. Connect to to connect to your account.
4. Click Create & Test to create your connection.
