Authenticate to Microsoft Active Directory
After you add the connector, you need to set the required properties.- Server: Enter the IP address of the server that hosts .
- Port: Enter the port number for the server. The default port value is 389.
- User: Enter the username that you use to authenticate to .
- Password: Enter the password that you use to authenticate to .
Complete Your Connection
To complete your connection:-
Specify the following properties:
- Base DN: Enter the base portion of the distinguished name. The base portion of the name limits results to specific subtrees.
- (Optional) Use SSL: Select whether you want to enable Secure Sockets Layer (SSL). By default, the Enable checkbox is not selected.
- Define advanced connection settings on the Advanced tab. (In most cases, though, you should not need these settings.)
- Click Create & Test to create your connection.
