Add the MarkLogic Connector

Authenticate to MarkLogic

After you add the connector, you need to set the required properties.
  • User: Enter the username that you use to authenticate to .
  • Password: Enter the password that you use to authenticate to .
  • Server: Enter the IP address of the server that hosts the database.

Complete Your Connection

To complete your connection:
  1. Specify the following properties:
    • (Optional) Port: Enter the port number to use if you are not using the default port for the selected API.
    • (Optional) Database: Enter the name of the database to which you want to connect.
    • (Optional) API: Select the API that the provider should use to query data. The default API is ODBC.
  2. Define advanced connection settings on the Advanced tab. (In most cases, though, you should not need these settings.)
  3. Click Create & Test to create your connection.
