# IBM Cloud Object Storage

CData Sync アプリケーションからIBM Cloud Object Storage コネクタを使用して、IBM Cloud Object Storage からデータを取得してサポートされている任意の同期先に移動できます。これを行うには、コネクタを追加し、コネクタへの認証を行い、接続を完了する必要があります。

## IBM Cloud Object Storage コネクタを追加

Sync でIBM Cloud Object Storage のデータを使用できるようにするには、まず以下の手順でコネクタを追加する必要があります：

  <li>Sync のダッシュボードから**接続**ページを開きます。</li>
  <li>**接続を追加**をクリックして**コネクタを選択**ページを開きます。</li>
  <li>**データソース**タブをクリックして
  **IBM Cloud Object Storage** 行に移動します。</li>

    行末にある**接続を設定**アイコンをクリックして、**新しい接続**ページを開きます。この操作により、
    **接続を追加**ダイアログボックスが開きます。

    **Note：** **接続を設定**アイコンが表示されない場合は、**コネクタをダウンロード**アイコンをクリックして IBM Cloud Object Storage コネクタをインストールしてください。

  <li>**接続を追加**ダイアログボックスに接続名を入力します。</li>
  <li>**追加**をクリックして、コネクタの**設定**タブを開きます。</li>

## IBM Cloud Object Storage への認証

After you add the connector, you need to set the required properties.

* **Api Key:** Enter the API key that you use to authenticate to IBM Cloud. Follow these steps to locate your API key:
  1. Log in to your IBM Cloud account.
  2. Navigate to the **Platform API Keys** page.
  3. Click **Create an IBM Cloud API Key** to create a new API key.
  4. In the pop-up window that appears, specify the API key name and click **Create**. Copy and save the API key because you can never access that key again from the dashboard.

## 接続を完了する

To complete your connection:

1. (Optional) For **IBM Cloud Object Storage CRN**, enter the customer resource number (CRN) that uniquely identifies your IBM Cloud Object Storage instance in IBM Cloud. You can obtain this value in one of two ways:

   * Query the Services view. This action lists your IBM Cloud Object Storage instances along with the CRN for each one.
   * Locate the CRN directly in IBM Cloud:
     1. Open your IBM Cloud Dashboard and navigate to **Resource List**.
     2. In the **Storage** section, select your IBM Cloud Object Storage resource to obtain its CRN.

   > [!NOTE]
   >
   > By default, Sync attempts to determine a Cloud IBM Cloud Object Storage CRN automatically. However, if you have multiple accounts, you need to specify the IBM Cloud Object Storage CRN explicitly.

2. Define advanced connection settings on the **Advanced** tab. (In most cases, though, you should not need these settings.)

3. Click **Create & Test** to create your connection.
