## Add the MYOB Connector

<CommonDatasourceAddConnector datasource={datasource} title={pageTitle} destination={false} siteNameShort={siteNameShort} />

## Authenticate to MYOB

After you add the connector, you need to set the required properties.

{siteName} supports connecting to two instance types, and the authentication scheme is based on your instance type. Select your instance type below to proceed to the relevant section that contains the authentication details.

* [**Cloud**](#cloud)
* [**On-Premises**](#on-premises)

### Cloud

For a cloud instance, specify the following properties:

* **Auth Scheme:** The authentication scheme (preselected) is **OAuth**.
* **User:** Enter the username that you use to authenticate to your {datasource} account.
* **Password:** Enter the password that you use to authenticate to your {datasource} account.

### On-Premises

For an on-premises instance, specify the following properties:

* **Auth Scheme:** The authentication scheme (preselected) is **Basic**.
* **User:** Enter the username that you use to authenticate to your {datasource} account.
* **URL:** Enter the URL for your {datasource} instance.
* **Password:** Enter the password that you use to authenticate to your {datasource} account.

## Complete Your Connection

To complete your connection:

1. (Optional) For **Company File Id**, enter the identifier (Id) for your company file.

   <Note>If you do not specify an Id, {siteNameShort} specifies the Id of the first returned company file.</Note>

2. Define advanced connection settings on the **Advanced** tab. (In most cases, though, you should not need these settings.)

3. {oauthschemes ? `If you authenticate with ${oauthschemes}, click` : "Click"} **Connect to {datasource}** to connect to your {pageTitle} account.

4. Click **Create & Test** to create your connection.
