## Add the Monday Connector

## Authenticate to Monday

After you add the connector, you need to set the required properties.

{siteName} supports authenticating to {datasource} in several ways. Select your authentication method below to proceed to the relevant section that contains the authentication details.

* [**Token**](#token) (default)
* [**OAuth**](#oauth)

### Token

To connect with an API token, specify the following properties:

* **Auth Scheme:** Select **Token**.
* **API Token:** Enter the audit-log API token that you obtain from your {datasource} account. To generate that token:
  1. Log in to your {datasource} account.
  2. Select **Admin > Security**.
  3. Click the **Audit** tab in the **Security** section.
  4. Click **Monitor by API**, and the {datasource} application displays your API token.

## Complete Your Connection

To complete your connection:

1. Specify the following properties:
   * (Optional) **Schema:** Enter the {datasource} schema that you want to use.
   * (Optional) **Domain:** Enter the domain for your {datasource} account (for example, https\://*YourDomain*.monday.com).
2. Define advanced connection settings on the **Advanced** tab. (In most cases, though, you should not need these settings.)
3. {oauthschemes ? `If you authenticate with ${oauthschemes}, click` : "Click"} **Connect to {datasource}** to connect to your {pageTitle} account.
4. Click **Create & Test** to create your connection.
