# Informix (Native)

CData Sync アプリケーションからInformix コネクタを使用して、Informix からデータを取得してサポートされている任意の同期先に移動できます。これを行うには、コネクタを追加し、コネクタへの認証を行い、接続を完了する必要があります。

## Prerequisites

Before you add your Informix connector, you need to download the JDBC driver and the CDC API as well as to set up Informix to use the CData Sync application's change data capture (CDC) capability.

### Download the Native JDBC Driver and the CDC API

Install the native IBM Informix JDBC driver and the CDC API, as follows:

1. Download the Informix driver and the API from the links below and copy them into `InstallationDirectory/lib`:

   * Informix JDBC driver: [https://repo1.maven.org/maven2/com/ibm/informix/jdbc/4.50.11/jdbc-4.50.11.jar](https://repo1.maven.org/maven2/com/ibm/informix/jdbc/4.50.11/jdbc-4.50.11.jar).
   * Informix CDC API: [https://repo1.maven.org/maven2/com/ibm/informix/ifx-changestream-client/1.1.3/ifx-changestream-client-1.1.3.jar](https://repo1.maven.org/maven2/com/ibm/informix/ifx-changestream-client/1.1.3/ifx-changestream-client-1.1.3.jar)

   > Because the JAR files are located in `InstallationDirectory`, you need to put these files on every machine that you use for a cluster environment.

## Set Up Informix for CDC

Perform the following steps to enable the Change Data Capture API in Informix:

1. Run the following script as the **Informix** user from the `$INFORMIXDIR/etc` directory:

   `syscdcv1.sql`

2. Verify that the syscdcv1 database exists by creating a connection to it as the user **Informix**.

3. Set the DB\_LOCALE environment variable (on your Sync machine) to match the locale of the database from which you are capturing data.

> The INTERVAL type is not supported by Informix Change Stream client in the CDC API.

## Informix コネクタを追加

Sync でInformix のデータを使用できるようにするには、まず以下の手順でコネクタを追加する必要があります：

    **Note：** **接続を設定**アイコンが表示されない場合は、**コネクタをダウンロード**アイコンをクリックして Informix (Native) コネクタをインストールしてください。

  <li>**接続を追加**ダイアログボックスに接続名を入力します。</li>
  <li>**追加**をクリックして、コネクタの**設定**タブを開きます。</li>
</ol>

## Informix への認証

After you add the connector, you need to set the required properties.

* **Host:** Enter your IBM Informix host name.
* **Port:** Enter the port number that connects to the server that hosts your Informix database. The default port value is **1526**.
* **Database:** Enter the name of your Informix database.
* **User:** Enter the username that you use to authenticate to your Informix database.
* **Password:** Enter the password that you use to authenticate to your Informix database.

## 接続を完了する

To complete your connection:

1. Define advanced connection settings on the **Advanced** tab. (In most cases, though, you should not need these settings.)
2. Click **Create & Test** to create your connection.
